Vacations revolve around your long distance bestie. You need to coordinate plans to make sure that you will be able to spend time together.

Making plans is exciting.

Planning a trip to visit your LDBF is always fun! Talking about all the things you’re going to do together once you arrive makes you happy.

Seeing them is always a big event.

Seeing them is one of the best feelings in the world. You’ve missed them so much. It’s pure joy. There is always a celebration when you reunite.

When you are together, it’s genuine. You don’t need to be staring at your phone all day or awkwardly trying to make conversation with each other.

When you are together, people comment on how similar you are.

All of your new friends are amazed about how much you two are the same person. They have heard all the stories, but after seeing you together they truly understand.

You always pick up where you left off.

It doesn’t matter if it’s been a week or a month since you’ve last seen each other, it seems like it was just yesterday. You don’t have to catch up over small talk because you already talk every day. You can get right into the good stuff.

It’s like having a pen pal. This is the one person who you know will always be there for you via the phone. They will respond to your texts, answer your phone calls, and FaceTime you on a regular basis.

You know that they would drop everything they were doing and drive to you if you really needed. That’s what true friendship is all about.
