Fall is finally here! Yay! We have been waiting for these cooler months all summer. You are about halfway through the semester, the air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and you get to pull out your favorite sweater and boots.
Make sure you check off all the boxes before the snow starts to fall and winter hits in full force.
Attend a Football Game
The fall signals football season and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Make sure you attend a football game at your college or Alma mater! It is a fun way to get outside and enjoy the weather with friends. If you are feeling really festive, you can also set up a tailgate party.
Go to Pumpkin Patch or Apple Orchard
Summer may be known for watermelon season but fall has some great choices too. Visit a pumpkin patch or apple orchard and pick out your own to bring home. Jump on board for a tractor ride and get a tour of the farm. You can decorate your apartment or dorm with your purchase or cook them up into some yummy deserts.
Check out a Corn Maze
This is a fun date idea, or if you’re enjoying the single life it can be a fun activity to bond with your roommate. A corn maze is a enjoyable way to kick off fall. It gives you an opportunity to get outside and work together to solve a puzzle.
Now is the time to be active without worrying about overheating. Go for a hike, take a bike ride, put together a pickup sports game with your friends, or have picnic. There are so many options to enjoy the outdoors and observe the changing of the seasons.
Oktoberfest is a German beer festival. If you are of legal age, this can be a time where you can test out different beers from Germany. If you are not of age yet you can still attend and watch the different German traditions and listen to live music, watch performances, and participate in festival games.
Visit a Haunted House
Fall is the spookiest time of year. Whether you believe in the paranormal or not it can still be exciting to attend a haunted house, real or fake. Closer to Halloween you can easily find a haunted house to wander through, if you’re brave enough. If you are a serious ghost hunter you can jump on board a local ghost tour.
