Featuring an interview with a UofM student, Daphne Rose
The University of Memphis offers over 250 areas to explore in undergraduate, graduate and honors programs, including professional and doctoral degrees. U of M attracts students from all over the country, and world, interested in the academic and research programs, offering a diverse learning experience for all.
The U of M is a great school to attend if you are into music and soulful culture. Memphis is known as the home of blues music and the birth place of rock n’ roll. Beale Street offers plenty of live music, local shops, and yummy dining options including some world famous BBQ joints. Located in the south, Memphis offers beautiful weather pretty much all year round. The city runs along the Tennessee River where you can rent a canoe for the day or enjoy a concert on the water. You can also enjoy a meal on one of the many roof top bars or check out a local attraction like the Memphis Zoo or Botanical Gardens.
