Why did you choose to attend the University of North Dakota?

The aviation field was something that really interested me. Knowing that I dug deeper to find a passion in air traffic controlling. It is something that changes every day and keeps me on my toes.

What did you like most about UND?

I think the campus is perfect. Seeing all the improvements and quality has made me proud to be a student here. I am surrounded with others that feel the same and it provides a good atmosphere. At UND I feel like a person and not just a number.

What do you like most about living in Grand Forks?

The culture around Grand Forks is something I really cherish. There is always something to do and the community itself is very positive.

What do you like to do for fun?

There is never a lack of things to do at UND. Of course there are obvious things like sporting events but I found that the university offers plenty of options. Being active by joining clubs/organizations has really given me things to do.

Do you have any advice for incoming freshman?

Don’t be afraid to jump into something new. I know this is something that is always said and it can be annoying but it is important. College in my eyes is something where the kid I am today meets the man I am going to be tomorrow.
